Network Architect

Job Description:

Gravitant is looking for a senior Network Hardware Architect with 5 years of experience in designing, managing and troubleshooting telecom network architectures. As a Network Architect, you will work in our innovative professional services teams that provide network architecture and design and security solutions for customer’s telecom networks. You will work with MPLS, SONET, and DWDM technologies. Also, you will work with CISCO routers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidelines and recommendations on implementation of MPLS, Sonet, and DWDM networks
• Design solutions for network security over MPLS
• Design and deploy various network solutions

Qualifications:

Required

• 5 years of experience in:
  
  • Designing and managing enterprise class network architectures
  • Working with MPLS technology
  • Troubleshooting network architectures from a performance, scalability, reliability and security perspectives.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communications and inter-personal skills
• Experience in documenting logical and physical requirements for network and security systems/solutions
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related degree

Preferred

• Experience working in state government agencies
