CEO speaks at Dallas Technology Summit

Mohammed Farooq, CEO Gravitant was an executive panel speaker at the Dallas Technology Summit. Held at Hilton Lakes in Dallas, Texas on August 25, 2011, the Summit was focused on issues related to cloud security with C-Suite executives who are shaping the IT infrastructure of their organization. With the event hosting over 150 attendees representing a broad array of enterprises, consulting and SI Organizations and Cloud Service Providers, Mohammed discussed the effects of cloud computing while emphasizing the critical role of the cloud broker and management model in comforting enterprises with the rapid adoption of the cloud computing model. In addition, Mohammed shared specific case studies which highlighted how enterprises can move existing applications to the cloud and implement powerful security solutions. He stressed that in spite of current paranoia surrounding cloud security, the cloud does provide a powerful new platform to standardize security solutions and get them aggressively adopted.
