Gravitant cloudMatrix™ Platform Architecture
The cloudMatrix platform implements a revolutionary cloud operating environment in the IT cloud management space. It is a next generation Java-based multi-tenant architecture deployed in an enterprise-class cloud environment and delivered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. The architecture includes several abstraction layers that are designed to enable cloud management and broker functionality while making sure that the architecture is scaleable, extensible, and reliable. The different layers include:
- User Interface - support secure, role-based access to applications
- Application Services - automates the cloud management processes
- Management Engines - part of the cloud operating environment to automate provisioning, algorithms, performance, processes, and policies
- Platform Services - part of the cloud operating environment to model service catalogs, resources, architectures, and performance.
- Integrations - part of the cloud operating environment to provide connectors to resources and managed services from public/private cloud providers and internal data centers.
